Folks, it's time to ask not what the Foundation can do for you, but what you can do for the Foundation.
We're working on upgrading the site from a regular Wikidot account to Pro-Lite. This will give us full control of the ads on the site (and the revenue they generate).
For those of you who immediately started panicking at the mention of ads, don't worry. This won't change anything for our userbase. Just as now, those who are logged in will see no ads. It's only those who visit without logging in who will see ads (just as they do now). The only thing that changes is that we get the money, and not Wikidot.
However, to do this, we first need to raise the money necessary for the upgrade. It will cost us fifty dollars a year. That's where you come in. If everyone tosses in a few bucks, we should have no trouble raising the amount. Think of it as a Christmas present for the Foundation.
