Skin cancer up to eleven. Neat.

I don't think immortalization is the right word there… and i don't think "roundworm" would be proper. I would change "roundworm" to something a bit more vague, like "exhibits little autonomy past the instinctual level".

A few other smaller nitpicks, but I like it. I'll upvote.

Immortalisation is the stage of cancer where the cells cease to die due to regular apoptosis. It's a real word :)

The roundworm analogy could go. I'm still rewriting a lot of the Phase descriptions to be snappier.

After taking a long look, I decided both could go anyway. There's no need to talk about cancer symptoms in the article, those would be in the attached medical document.

There are a couple of places where you refer to Phase 7, but there are only 6 phases described. But overall, I like it. Creepy!

I think I got all of those. I merged the former phases 1 and 2 together to shorten the article. Also removed a bit of the biology talk, after realising that since I'd made reference to an attached medical document, this one is probably written so that Agents and other non-biologists can grasp it quickly.

Hmm…you have a 73% cure rate and 21% fatality rate when treating Phase 1. What happens to the other 6%? Progression to Phase 2? [DATA EXPUNGED]?

Treatment fails but isn't fatal, so they just progress to phase 2. It's relatively rare because it'd be more common to continue pushing treatment until the subject dies, given that nobody wants to be turned into a walking skin-puppet.

I got a wicked mental picture from this one. The image of tumorous, writhing skin controlling a human like a puppet is interesting and creepy at the same time. Good job! One question: Is the human subject alive at phase's 5 and 6? Like aware of what is happening to them but ultimately unable to do anything about it?

I think they should remain totally conscious. Being aware of everthing this parasite does would be all kinds of disturbing.

My only nitpick is the final stage of infection not having much relation to alcohol addiction at all. It would be fun for the SCP to be a sort of bad consequence of being a drunkard. Still, 'bridge troll' seems to just really sum it up. Upvoted.

I usually don't care much for body horror SCPs but I think this strikes just the right balance between disgusting and disturbing. Good show.

I've been playing the Black Crown project recently from the StoryNexus site and I can't help but think of that while reading this, though the only thing they have in common is really well-written body horror elements.
