This would have been out on Friday but I had to wait for djkaktus to post the new kast so blame him.

I've added a new section this month - Editor's Choice, where I pick articles from the month that I feel deserve more attention and offer a few sentences why. Editor's Choice is strictly at my discretion - I don't take one article a week and in fact it may not appear at all. However, I feel like it's a good way to bring more attention to truly underrated articles and I hope you enjoy my picks!

May and June were incredibly prolific months - we got 160 articles in May alone.

Just over 100 SCPs posted in June. Not quite the high output of May but I attribute that to many authors gunning for their desired Series 4 slots or holding nearly-ready SCPs that would have likely been drowned out by the contest if posted during it.

Fun fact about this month: as of right now, three of the four highest-rated mainlist SCPs in June 2017 are from first-time SCP authors, and the rest of the top eight came from writers who joined in May. To me, that's a very promising sign for the future.
