Weird article that basically involves living children's show characters gone wrong.
Hope you like it.
This is great. My only issue is that the log of the guards messing around and then directly telling the person behind the security camera feeds to erase the log is just a little unbelievable and tone-breakingly comedic, especially with the camera literally nodding.
There's also a less/fewer error in the containment procedures, and:
Researcher: God damn it! None of the higher ups aren't taking me seriously!
aren't/are mix-up.
Anyway, yeah. Minor qualms aside, this is super disturbing, well-done horror.
Thank you for the feedback.
True, the security camera feeds may be a tad comedic, but I've seen people mess around in that tone, so I thought I'd risk it and add it in.
I'll see if I can make some minor adjustments.
Edit: fixed some of the errors, thank you very much for pointing them out.
Addendum 2 is pretty weak, and I'm not sure I get anything out of the list of causes of death in the last one. Also, watch in part 3 for logs that go on too long; if there's a security breach and the guy's supposed to be doing something, I wouldn't expect he'd get much more than "Shit!" out before killing the recording.
That said, this is nicely creepy and has a good backstory, and I'm upvoting out of narcissism if nothing else, being (I believe) the only other person who's written a Muppet-based skip. :3
Thank you very much, I'll see if I can make some minor adjustments that may improve the article.
By the way, I loved your puppet skip, it was really weird/awesome!
Cross-test proposal: SCP-1435 x SCP-3325
Status: denied by O5 council on grounds of "No. Just…no." 11/2 vote1
Notes: Dissenting opinions included denial on grounds of "oh hell no" and "potential depletion of class-F amnestic reserves"
Five nights at Freddy's mixed with Dr Moreau. Love it.
I always like some FNAF like horror, mascot costumes creep me out because I don't know what's inside of them, plus it's kinda weird to see something act like a cartoon character, but not speak.
pastarasta1 is quick-talking and often scheming
Just a question, are you thinking of making a picture for this like your other works?
pastarasta1 is quick-talking and often scheming
I was thinking of making a picture of the facility, but not the characters.
Edit: Here's a picture I made of SCP-3325-1a in embryonic form. Ultimately, I left it out because I didn't work on it enough for it too look realistic: http://scpsandbox2.wdfiles.com/local--files/redemptioninitiative/freaky_beaky.jpg
It's inspired by Big Bird.
Oh dear, I just realized this article could have been much creepier, after discussing with my associate.
He suggested a part where one of the staff locked himself in the closet with the "characters" scratching at the door and chanting phrases while he breaks down mentally.
That would have been a nice touch.
I like the way the men in black act like a mirror Foundation - similarly cold and scientific, but even less constrained by ethics than the foundation, and purposefully creating anomalies rather than containing them. The causes of death in the final log drove the connection home for me.
+1
I've been thinking of working on pictures for the SCP-3325-1 instances, but I can't really find the time to touch them up nicely, and end up rushing them.
I'll add a link to a picture SCP-3325-1a, in its underdeveloped form. It was made in Mudbox 2017, but I added the distortions later, to try to 'cheat' and hide the imperfections. Ultimately, it wasn't developed enough to be included in the article, which is sad.

Part of me is thinking that the children's show story was a blind for the real purpose of creating living cthonic abominations.
On second thought, having this happening as a result of an attempt to create actual living cartoon/puppet characters might be even more disturbing.
