…I have no words to describe this. Someone else get over here and come up with some.
The only way this could have been better would have been if he died from second hand smoke.

Thank you for the sequel idea.
Actually thank you for pretty much writing the whole sequel right there.
The biggest tragedy in all of this is that 682 was also teen pregnant
Don't be hasty - he could be his species' equivalent of a juvenile delinquent. The adults could actually be non-omnicidal!
One day daddy 682 will turn up to have harsh words with his drop-out son and apologise for all the trouble caused.
"now say sorry people"
"no - say it like you mean it"
The fact that this has reached +28 in such a short time for a Foundation Tale without so much as a voting module attached simply indicates how utterly superb it is.
Every time I see this, I try to upvote it again. I keep being disappointed that I already have.
Even though the formatting looks a little wierd, this Tale is funny.
It's just the thought of SCP-682 dieing from drunk driving while driving Dr. Bright's car. It's out-of-the-blue.
This was originally going to be a big annoying shaggy dog story, full of intricately told details about the characters involved in the discussion and a slow build up to the reveal that 682 died in a car accident.
At some point in the first paragraph I said "fuck it" and proceeded to put in the appropriate amount of effort for the story.
The details that you did put in at the beginning really help make this.
