I like this concept, not the test log.
Question: can these facets of a personality that appear around the table attack or threaten each other? If so, can they attack the person who is hosting them?
A couple notes about using the term "an SCP" in an article:
1. "An SCP" is a secure containment procedure, the document and the process, not the thingie that is contained— these are "SCP objects" or "SCP artifacts". An adjective, not a noun. (Does not apply to informal speech or writing.)
2. Even colloquially, an SCP's not an SCP till it's been contained. They may be "potential SCP objects", but the only SCPs that other organizations have are ones the Foundation has contained and since lost (such as SCP-112).
I went ahead and fixed the usage here. That aside, neat idea, very nice way to play with an age-old concept. Makes me question the definition of [REDACTED], seeing what happens when they're removed entirely. Also, echoing Voct's second statement— a good SCP makes observations, not inferences. Well done there. Upvoted.
Quik: There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with someone referring to the item as 'an SCP' That's just the terminology that has grown in place around these things. I'm reverting your edits.
Admin, SCP Wiki
Huh. I thought that was a more universally accepted standard… I sit corrected (though I stand by my opinions above).
Thanks for the upvote, while I agree with your gerenal point (that an SCP is a directive) that is not how it is used in most articles. Also I can't quite understand what you mean by the portion after the 2 bullets. Could you please clarify?
"Sin". I had assumed that this was inspired by the Seven Deadly Sins, and that you were exploring the idea of a life truly without sin.
Should this article really be tagged as "religious"? Referencing a religious concept doesn't automatically make the object religion-related and IMHO there is nothing in the description or properties of this object suggesting such a connection.
nice and interesting take on the seven deadly sins that i had not seen before. upvoted.
I absolutely love this. Basically a meeting of parts of a person, negatively exxagerated. If I could give two upvotes, I would.
I liked it, but I wonder,
What happens if they kill all 7 personality guys?
What do you think?
Me, I figure catatonia and death.
No recorded conversations? I think this would leave a lot of room for mind control testing. I think that some logs of observations and testing for persona control and manipulation would be incredible. There's a lot of potential flexibility here.
