Hate to be a nitpick, but most experiment logs have links to the SCP being experimented with. Other than that, pretty interesting!
"The license plates generated by SCP-191 were: IAM-191, 191-ISA, 600-DMA and CHI-930."
Hm.
"I am 191" is obvious. Is the rest supposed to be… "191 is a sad machine" ?
6 is supposed to look like a "G," so it's "Good machine."
First, that's adorable and I love it. Second, what about testing 191's capabilities to interview 079? Or, something similar.
The license plate thing was the only good part of this test log. I really didn't like the traditional "hurr hurr someone did a screwy test and gets to clean out 682's caaaage" cliche either.
I was ready to upvote this until I saw the stupid 682 reference.
Oh c'mon, the guy used a little girl whose age is in the single digits to break into a goddamn porn site for him. If anyone deserves to be punished by having to pooper-scoop a Keter…
For that matter, he gave her unrestricted access to the internet from inside the Foundation. That's a gigantic-ass SECURITY BREACH, on top of being morally bankrupt, even by Foundation standards.
Yes. A shitty test that should not be part of the log.
I agree that 682 is overused as a punishment. I'm open to suggestions for better threats besides 682 and "Keter Duty."
EDIT: I went into chat and got a simpler idea: Just demoting the asshole to D-class. Sorry about that.
How is that an improvement? Maybe you could have him thrown to the Rancor.
Oh, oh, or have Dr. Evil be in charge of human resources. That would explain why the Foundation is entirely staffed by wacky pranksters who are standing on top of trap-doors while they do research. Press a big red button and they can get dumped in to a fire pit.
I was hoping to use it as a glimpse of what's really going on inside her head.
I dunno, maybe you're right. v_v
The censorship here is transparent and ridiculous, but otherwise it interests me.
if your reading this your gay
"██ Paint," a ubiquitous, simple drawing program.
Any reason why "MS" is censored?
The censoring is stupid. It disengaged the whole thing, because it's pointless. Let's say a GoI gets this document as is. The most malevolent, Foundation-cidal group out there. They don't have the license plates of the parking lot test. This is good. They see 'MS' and 'C.S.I.' blanketed. Nothing changes, because nobody is going to think it's not MS or CSI. Downvoted until that changes.
Everything else is pretty interesting, as is.
Don't try to force an author to change something because you dislike it. That's just going to annoy them. I actually like the fact that 'MS' is blocked out, because anyone can tell what it is, and it's kind of funny to imagine the Foundation running around to avoid copyright.
But then what is the purpose of criticism, if not to persuade an author to change the part that reviewer dislike?
The Foundation would never run into copyright problem, because they don't technically publish these documents. It's just for internal use, so it makes no sense that they'd be nitty gritty with these stuff.
I know they wouldn't actually be worried about copyright, I just imagined a group of Foundation personnel sprinting around editing documents while a 191 is sitting in a corner wondering what the hell is going on. I also think that MS being blocked out was kind of done as a joke, because it's obvious what it actually is.
Also, why is the Wii game censored? I wish to know what it is.
I want to say Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.

Well, the formatting my be screwed up but that's what I got when I tried it in a text file.
I LOVE these experiment logs and wish there were more. Definitely like this cyborg girl, very tragic, very strange.
