I believe the Big List of Overdone SCP Cliches covers what you have in mind, Malcolm. To wit:
Things what caused teh INDIAN OCEAN TSUNAMI. Seriously, I think the Foundation has caused it about ten billion times already. And for that matter, quit making globes and maps that change the world when the map or globe is altered. It gets old.
The direct impact on history definitely needs to go, at least if it's going to be such obvious examples. It's also worth noting that SCP-181 is in a similar vein, though he certainly isn't the outright personification of failure and destruction that "Murphy" is.
I like certain aspects of this but on the whole right now it doesn't work for me. I'd end up downvoting, both on concept and on execution. My first suggestion, above all, would be to cut this thing down. Brevity is almost always a positive for SCPs. As it stands, I think there's far too much going on in here. Consider moving some details to secondary pages, if need be.
In concept, I'm not sure if the human personification works so well for this SCP. To me, at least, it comes off as being too similar to the myriad of insufferable reality benders the Foundation has (or has had) in containment previously. I personally also tend to dislike objects that aren't contained/can't be contained, ever. Part of what makes the SCPs interesting to read through, for me, is seeing how the Foundation has 'beaten' these things, at least temporarily. Things like 106 are barely 'contained' at all, but the Foundation has at least found ways to keep them at a reasonably safe 'distance' from civilization. With this approach, it's just something that we know is loose and can't do anything about, and its effects are on such a macro level that it's a demolition man, basically. (This isn't to say there aren't objects that aren't contained, but that they seem, from what I know, relatively rare. Probably for good reason.)
As with Malcolm, I've not been here long, and my activity is intermittent at best, so take what I say with some quantity of salt. I hope you'll get at least some use out of my points, though.
