Ok, I wrote three ideas on my sandbox that I'd like some critique on, to see if they could be viable as SCPs. They are:

Pencil and Eraser: The eraser completely erase all instances of a word from a text, and the pencil can add anything to a narrative or document. Copies of the affected texts will also be modified.

Eye Tree: A tree with guarana-like fruits full of a yellow powder. When a living being comes close to the tree, the fruits burst. If the powder enters in contact with the creature's eye, a seed will grown inside the eyeball. The trees may or may not be sentient.

Stone Rubik Cube: Ok, I'm… really unsure about this one, but anyway. It's a Rubik cube made of stone. Instead of colored faces, each face represents a type of rock. When a face is completed, the cube will simulate the creation process of that rock; it will then open, and inside of the cube will be a small statue made of the rock represented on the completed face. If all faces are completed at the same time, [DATA EXPUNGED] will occur, and a statue made of an unkown mineral will be found inside the cube.

First too, straight up no. 1 is just boring, and 2 is a meh concept.

Three has some potential, but i t needs something more.

The pencil is kind of dull. The eye-popping tree is better, but we've already got several eye-based SCPs. Of the three, the Rubik's cube sounds the most interesting. Maybe you could describe what happens when all six faces are completed without so much [DATA EXPUNGED]?

Anyway, about the Rubik's Cube… Technically, it is impossible to solve all six faces in a single move. A single center-slice rotation can solve four faces at once, but not all six. But whatever, just a minor nitpick, the concept is definitely good. Also, the [DATA EXPUNGED] should result in a statue thing like solving one face does, but the material of the statue being a perfect fusion of the other six rock types it can create.

Hummmm… you're right. Well, I guess I'll make it so that all six faces don't need to be necessarily completed at the same time. Thanks for the tip!
Regarding the idea of the statue, well, actually a perfect fusion of those rocks wouldn't be very interesting. Yeah, it'd be quite an absurd rock, but not as much as you'd expect. See, granite and granite gneiss possess the same basic minerals (quartz, feldspar and plagioclase), sandstone is practically all quartz (with some feldspar in the middle) and obsidian is made almost entirely of silica (which is what quartz is basicaly made of). The only really different things would be the basalt, that'd add maybe some high-temperature quartz, along with more plagioclase and pyroxenes in the mix, and the gabbro giving olivine and more pyroxenes and even more plagioclase. So, the final mix of all theese rocks would basicaly be a silica-high rock with ultramafic minerals in it (which, if you're a geologist, would be MIND BLOWING, but I guess most people wouldn't care).

Well, the original idea for what happened when the Rubik cube had its six faces completed was:
The cube would rumble for a bit and then open. A small metalic ball made primarily out of iron and nickel, with 4.5 cm in diameter, would float from inside the cube into the air. After that, a mixture of (basically) liquid iron and nickel would come from the open halfs of the cube and cover the metallic ball. And after that, large amounts of magma would come out of the cube and wrap around the small ball, until the whole thing reached a diamenter of 2,3 meters. The outermost layers of magma would eventually begin to cool down and solidify. Volcanos and mountains would appear, tectonic plates would form, etc etc. In the right conditions, it'd probably develop it's on atmosphere. In other words, the cube would basically create a planet. The cube would close as soon as the magma stopped flowing out of it.
Altough I liked the idea, I tought people would find it way too over-the-top, which is why I made it simply create an unkown mineral instead. What do you guys think? Would this make it better or worse?

I think it might be pretty cool, personally, especially if the mini-planet got classified as an SCP unto itself. We've already got a mini-sun and a mini-black hole, so a microcosmic world would round out the group nicely.

Maybe if we get enough of these, we can make a mini-galaxy. That would be sweet.
