Well, I've written my first SCP proposal, and put it here:

I think it could use a little more fleshing out, another interesting element to make it especially strange. If anyone has ideas for improvements, feel free to post your suggestions.

Yeah, I wasn't really going for an overly TERRIFYING SCP, just a… curiosity. Something that isn't innately dangerous, but could be in the wrong hands.

"Fourth-dimensional in nature"? That's what you want to go with? Not "extra-" or "trans-"? Because I'm pretty sure the fourth dimension doesn't do that kind of thing.

Well, in modern physics the fourth dimension is defined simply as a fourth plane of movement. Thus, if something doesn't "fit" in normal space (i.e. it's bigger on the inside than on the outside,) it could be assumed that there is an extra (fourth) dimension linking them together.

Geometry aside, extra-dimensional might work better. Does anybody else think so?
