I quite like this one. Upvoted.
I love the picture, but I dunno about the article itself. Feels like Marvel's mutant-of-the-month club.
The picture is extremely creepy. Would like more backstory and maybe more consistency or at least subtle theme/intent with the mutations.

…damn.
You just reminded me of something that was in my original idea but never made it into the actual article cause I forgot. Alright, this thing might have a partial rewrite coming if I can figure out how to make an idea work…
I really like it. But I'm curious. How did he/she come to the attention of the Foundation? What happened that made this start happening? What's the full extent of the changes? Would he change into something different if he was exposed to a new environment?
There was initially a backstory but it was cut to focus more on the SCP itself. Its physiology totally changes to accommodate whatever 'ability' its current form has, and no, it changes at random rather than adapting to anything.
Nice picture, good writing, but I think the idea itself is too varied, a sort of 'This is veery SCP humanoid badass' vibe.

So help you god, Alias, you better not be a "young Asian male." Not bad, though.
…ha ha no I'm Scandinavian/British. >.>
Anyway, why would I make a self-insert who is psychotic and spends all his time locked up in a solitary confinement cell screaming his head off in pain?
Bit too much redaction for me, I could do with some released information to up the creep, especially detailing the mutations.
Other than that, good article, upvoted!
"Additionally, SCP-817 seems to be incapable of deliberately injuring itself." "…began attempting to claw its own eyes out." Does not compute. Needs more creep as has been said, but otherwise interesting.
Incapable of injuring, yes. Incapable of attempting, not necessarily.
Also, there are situations where one, despite a known inability to do something, will try to anyway.
