Mnestics are described in the Anti-meme Division hub series.

They're the apposite of Amnestics. They make you remember better.

From context, no. He is trying to remember SCP-055, and wondering if it will do him any good to take mnestics when he wakes up. Amnestics would be contraindicated.

Wow, this was really good. I enjoyed the humorously cynical attitude of Lloyd’s point of view a lot, and the evolving mystery was intriguing.
