You know, I think a lot (=sometimes) about the whole user avatar stuff on the site, and how that was good back when the site was smaller but how now having a Foundation that's just full of badasses is inconvenient and will lead to poor writing, and yeah, I think that's all true and I understand why it's changed.
But every so often, there's a story like this that just makes me lean back in my chair, grin, nod slowly, and think, "fuck yeah."
Everyone, try that right now. It's really fun.
I agree that the site has its quota of badasses; more specifically, I believe it needs more annoying, middle-management types. I'm trying to manage a bridge case of that with my pathetic, asshole Doctor Blast, but I'm not sure I'm succeeding.
It occurred to me out of the blue this morning that last night I fixed a typo that might - just might - have been a double entendre. If that is in fact the case, anyone watching this space can feel free to revert it while I have myself a nice long sit-down in the corner of shame.
Not entirely sure if it's this, but is it the line early on with:
"…staring directly into at the large…"
Since I've been thinking that line over as well.
