so yeah I did a thing
edit: would people like it more if I made many, many offsets?
edit edit: I did and people didn't like it
Ok, what is going on here?
MINDFUCK. It happens.
well it is funny, if a bit too philosophical for my taste.
I think other joke SCPs have done the "Wiki commentary ported into real life" thing better, namely SCP-404-J and SCP-1212-J. This wasn't so much funny to read as it was just plain weird and meandering.
Besides, if you're going for weird philosophical meandering as a joke, you're not nearly on the level of SCP-857-D, which wasn't even intended as one.
if your reading this your gay
I'd argue that there is some overlap here, but I can change that
Rewrite immenent? Didn't notice that before. I imagine the rewrite would be just as terrible but the annotations are praising it for being such an innovative format screw because the rewriter has more friends.
I mean, some more seasoned writers could take a look at the article and say there is something worthwhile, but the paradoxical nature is half the fun.
If I said "Deletion imminent", would that make more sense?
It's a satire.
Unless it's supposed to be funny because it's just a slog of unfunny nonsense, I don't understand how it's supposed to be funny.
EDIT: The addition of the interview log is a rather blatant jab at people who dislike the article.
It's commentary, not a jab.
If it is a jab, it is lighthearted considering average foundation writer complaints.
Then, the fact that the article is supposed to be a meta-comment on article writer's frustration, it makes sense and doesn't make sense.
That's the point! It is silly-bad and bittersweet satire
Reminds me of xkcd 917, about Douglas Hofstadter's six word autobiography:
I'm So Meta Even This Acronym.
Yeah, I got about four paragraphs in without finding anything remotely funny. Scrolled down, saw the chat logs, still nothing funny.
I legitimately have no idea what you were going for here, but whatever it was, you didn't make it.

I hit discuss on the actual file's discussion, not the real discussion page.
So, uh, here it goes.
Anyway, I really like this SCP.
It's a bit on the odd side and seems to jump between some different themes but it stays somehow whole.
