Love the scripture use; that's a particularly evocative passage that is used a lot in music and literature.

Entry was short, (super) sweet, and to the point; I'm not even mad that is exceedingly unlikely this creature and her nest would both be fossilized, separately (I think; I'm not paleontological expert).

Great work, +1, wish I could upvote it more.

I'm really glad you liked it!

Deep down I've always wanted to write an SCP inspired by the Song of Solomon passage, but could never find the right concept. I made the connection to the Jeremiah verse quite a bit later on, when I wanted a thematic subdesignation for the event.

Maiasaura fossils are often found in herds and communal nests; my personal canon is that the mother was caught in a massive flood while out searching for plants to cover the nest in, and this flood was big enough to wipe out the colony as well. I admit to a tiny bit of guesswork as to the distance between her body and the nest, but if anything, the plot convenience is that only her nest was recovered, which is easily fixed if you imagine that the rest of the nests are also close by, dug up but not included in this file because they're not important.

Just a little feedback after reading the article (loved it btw), I noticed that you tended to use the word It a lot, which tends to take a bit away from the experience. For example, instead of saying "SCP-3637-1 lay down next to it and nuzzled the fossilized eggs, before collapsing into salt crystals.", You can say "SCP-3637-1 lay down next to and nuzzled the fossilized eggs, before collapsing." Not to mention, it would be a them, not an it, as there are multiple eggs. Also "During a 3637-Ramah event, wind speeds in the vicinity of SCP-3637 will increase to around 140 kph, a loud roar will be heard," What is the vicinity, first of all, and I would recommend saying some variation of "produced a loud roar", instead of a loud roar will be heard. Other than my Nitpicking, the article is great.

"It" in that first sentence refers to the nest, not the eggs. Not sure how I can make that any clearer.

As for the vicinity thing, I suppose I could add the approximate radius where the wind is happening, but I didn't want to overload on details that specific.
