My sixth SCP! Thanks to Bentu for multiple rounds of feedback.
Was Dr. O████ in a stable relationship or aromantic? I'm assuming it was one of the two.
Yes. Personally, I'm thinking he was aromantic, but the end result is the same either way.
I think aromanticism is more probable because otherwise the Weekly Counseling would've kept it in check. (wait, no, both types of people get counseling. nvm)
Good story.
Wording issue; 3080 wouldn't be considered an "anomalous romantic relationship" would it? It'd be more that 3080 are phenomena surrounding the romantic relationship. The wording in the article right now implies that the relationship itself is anomalous, AKA, the romantic relationship between -1 and -2, which is wrong.
You know, that's true, I'll fix that. (Apologies to Weryllium for removing the quote referenced in the above post)
My only other complaint about this article; D-Class and even researchers in other articles face punishments for doing things that anomalies manipulated or made them do. Why hasn't the same been done here with Dr. O?
I didn't actually know that was a thing; do you have an example in mind?
Still, I have no problem changing that; it doesn't change the overall plot. I'll make an edit for this as well.
I'd be upset someone beat me to this idea if it wasn't done so well. Great job, this was an incredibly interesting read.
What happens if they call off the relationship and divorce and vow to only be platonic friends ever again?
If they did that, the anomaly probably wouldn't stop, because they still love each other too much! The anomaly would only stop if they actually fell out of love in a natural way. (However, for the sake of the story, I'm saying that that would never happen.)
Also, since it's a soap opera there's always the chance that they realize they still had feelings for each other all along and they had been fools to deny it.
Also also: Tale where it turns out that the twin brother had faked his own death and switched places with the real -2, who just woke up from a coma in a Colombian hospital. With amnesia. And the nurse is -1's long-lost twin sister.
HOW DID I NOT THINK OF THAT. THAT IS AN EXCELLENT IDEA
I don't care if it's a year since this comment, I'm waiting for this to happen.
Would only one of them have to fall out of love, or both?
Huh, I hadn't thought of that, but probably just one. I think the anomaly stems from the relationship between them, and it probably wouldn't work if the feelings stopped being mutual.
