You have my upvote for the line about extraterrestrial activity. When aliens are a better explanation than what's actually going on, shit's wrong.
The discharge events were creative. The journal is a pretty decent "descent into madness" kind of thing, and isn't overly explainy. The exploration log, though, left me a tad confused, so just to check: entering the archways will cause a person to disappear and a discharge event to happen. But this doesn't happen immediately, and it's possible for discharge events to happen on their own. Somehow, as I was reading, I got the idea that discharge was only caused by people going in the archways, and it kind of sounds like the effect should be immediate from the description.
Despite the fact i gave an up-vote this story is still lacking in some aspects such as grammar, and what appears to be laziness, however i don't have the right to call some one out on what i think is being lazy, because i'm guilty of this as well. Besides that this is a good SCP.
So I downvoted, for a couple reason.
You've got a few instances of unsubstantiated claims (such as being abandoned in a specific year), use terms before they're defined (the Eckhart-anatol discharge), and overall, the story didn't really hold my attention much throughout the skip.
While I appreciate the novel concept, the execution really sinks this for me. Downvote for now.
Found an instance of imperial units being used instead of SI.
about 7 miles east of SCP-3066. 75% of the discharged mass is composed of 5 × 10 inch sheets of parchment paper.
Probably just done out of habit, but I'd go change it.
As for the actual thing; it was kinda weird to read. I really don't know how I feel about it. I'll settle on a no-vote.

Ehh, some of the ideas are good but the whole cognitohazard and the -C deal seems over the top and kind of clashes with the theme of the rest of the article.
According to the journal pages, the white bird seems to be kind of the turning point where things really start going wrong, yet it is never addressed anywhere else in the report. That feels a bit off to me.
Also, I think it could have done without the -C disemboweling themselves and building structures. An SCP doesn't need brutal violence to be good.
I'll settle on a no-vote.
I upvoted it, but this skip is loaded with clichés:
1. Over the top gross imagery (that could be avoided)
2. It DRIVES YOU CRAZY!!1
3. Overly explainy diary.
4. Descent into madness
Having some clichés in your text isn't bad, it's almost unavoidable. But having too many of them weighs over the scip and drags it down. I'm sure you could do a rewrite removing at least some of them.
