I liked it. I love the idea of taking everyday phenomena (IE wrong orders), and adding a twist to make it an SCP. (That's what I'm assuming you were going for, sorry if I'm wrong.) I'm curious though; was SCP-3275-2 administered with amnestics at any point?
Glad you liked it! And no, he wasn't. There was originally a note addressing this at the end of the interview, but it was scrapped. Basically, the reasoning is that '-2 is clearly already aware how weird it is, and if you erase his memory he will only continue to be surprised by it every time.
That makes sense. I'm extremely new, so take this with half of a grain of salt, but he seems somewhat aware of the Foundation's (though it's clear he doesn't know the Foundation's nature or anything of that sort) intervention in his personal life, or at least them paying his employer. I'd think that'd be a bit of a risk. (It's still definitely a +1, just one of those little details that niggle at you.)
I see where you're coming from. However, I think it would be more of a hassle if he had to be explained what was going on every time because they keep making him forget.
Good point. There'd definitely be some sort of surveillance and safe-guards. Thanks for the answers, just trying to get a grip on what happens in these scenarios.

This makes me reminds me of the other pizza SCP 458, but like more creative and the opposite effect. Upvoted

The idea that keeping his person and personal environment clean and neat prevents the anomaly from occurring is a charming aspect of the SCP.

+1, I had no idea I wanted to read this so much until I did.
At first, I was nonplussed, because it seemed like it might just be one shitty employee fucking with the pizzas. And then the article's all, "NO BUT IT TOTALLY ISN'T THAT, WE SWEAR".
It wasn't until the state of the pizzas was linked to his personal hygiene that I really took notice. I find I like that link more than the dead mom, but overall, it's a neat effect, and I like that we've got a phenomenon centered on an individual, who is completely aware of it. I don't think I've seen an interview with that line of questioning before. +1

This SCP is just… so weird and totally off-the-wall. I really like the character of 3275-2 as well. +1 for sure

I like the development here: First the guy whose deliveries all go wrong and everybody believing that it is his fault, then the connection to his personal hygiene and tidiness. I personally do not need the interview at the end, but I understand that understanding the reason for all these mishaps is a gain for some people. Upvoted.

Yeah, the reason those conversations are off-record is probably because they're about 95% the Foundation agent just patiently explaining that no, this is not a horrible thing all things considered and yes, you're going to be okay. Just clean your room tomorrow, kid.

As a former pizza cook, I'd honestly have been more than a bit ashamed to send that out for delivery. The toppings are an absolute mess, what appear to be bacon strips are practically charcoal, the crust is unevenly cooked…it makes me sad to look at it. Plus, bacon should always be small pieces, not strips, so it can be spread evenly over the whole pizza.
(Not joking even a little bit. Even when we were slammed we never made a pizza that looked like that. But we were consistently one of the highest rated shops of the local chain I worked for.)
((EDIT: Which, now that I think about it, bringing that up is funny, because I started reading the SCP wiki during that time period, and introduced a number of my coworkers to it via the shop computer during slow periods.))

Admittedly, if I recall correctly, that was one of the reasons I was totally up for co-authoring this. Scented_Shadow was willing to purposely order a gross-looking pizza to serve as the image, and I can't help but admire that willingness to put something cool in an article.
It's true that I ordered it with these toppings on purpose! That it looked bad was just a nice bonus for my picture. It actually didn't even really taste that bad, but maybe my pizza standards are just low.

It's hard to screw up Pizza. I mean, you kinda have to be trying to make it taste horrible without skipping the "cook it" step.
Dead serious, "Canadian bacon, olives, and jalapenos" is one of my family's standard pizza orders. Mushrooms or pepperoni are sometimes substituted for Canadian bacon. Either way, it is fantastic.
now I feel like I'm being too fancy for liking pizza with chicken and pesto on it ._.
