Goddammit. Sorry to all the new people who were in here, I honestly meant to slip in the back and just sort of sit in on the contest. I keep forgetting that, at least here, I enjoy a certain celebrity. Congrats to everyone who entered, thanks so much for putting forth the effort!

Thank you, as well, to everyone who voted for me. I was very worried that the story wouldn't be quite up to snuff, and I appreciate all the feedback I've gotten, both good and bad.

Err…I have no idea what the prize may actually be, but if it's just the knowledge that I can still crank out a good story or two, that's good enough.

Don't feel ashamed or embarrassed, Gears. It was a fine story, and it deserved to win. I voted for it over my own entry, after all. It was worthy.

And no, I'm not bothered in the slightest that I apparently received no votes. Considering the competition, I regretted only having five votes, and had to winnow them tightly to make sure that I didn't waste one.

I would like to extend a hearty congratulations to the winners and a grand job to all the entries. By actually writing something to submit, you have proven more dedication to this site then quite a few others.

I apologize for not voting in this contest, but I didn't have nearly enough votes to vote for all the awesome stories. Seriously, you guys (and gals) all rock.
