Huzzah!

So, most of this was my 2016 Holiday Exchange gift for Communism Will Win. I did a couple more on recommendation from sirpudding, and the format and concept was suggested by CWW.

I don't super consider this canon for SCP-2602, I was just kind of having fun throwing everything at it.

Image sources include:
All library images: Myself and Casey Smith, CC BY-SA 3.0. Some detail for SCP-2140-1-L(F) is from a CC font by Juan Carlos Porcel, concept used with permission from sirpudding. Other details are CC0 from pixabay.

The exceptions:
Quiet Study includes Catacombs of Paris by Michael Reeve, CC BY-SA 3.0 on wikimedia commons.
Exbibliothetic Possession is mostly Reactor nuclear experimental RA-6 (Republica Argentina 6), en marcha, Centro Atomico Bariloche by Pieck Darío, CC BY-SA 3.0 on wikimedia commons.

Loved this in December, love it now. Since it's sitting at +9, I've gone ahead and added a link to it in SCP-2602; up to you whether you want to categorize this as a supplement or a tale.

The pictures are too big, not loading on my terribly slow internet connection. I vaguely recall them from when Scan added them to the main page but I'd rather see the content+captions as you intend them to be seen here.

Edit: My thanks to anqxyr. Turns out I was using the total wrong format. It should be much more loadable now.

That is all sorts of freaky and weird and I love it. Just the strangeness I would hope for when viewing images of a former library.

Is there anything in the image of the microfiche reader that I am missing? Or is that the one normal picture in the bunch?

ETA: Is that a limpet or some other mollusk on the inside of the dustcover?

The paper at the top doesn't look like it's in any writing system I'm aware of, but I dunno if I'm just stupid or if that's the point.

What paper?

Edit: If you mean the SCP-2140-1-F(L) instance in image -116, the writing system is High Daeva Thaumaturgical-B.

However I am talking about image -117, in which no paper seems to be visible.

Analysis: It's perfectly normal and arguably quite convenient for circulation carts to levitate in the presence of Dewey radiation typical of former libraries.

I've decided this is my favorite one.
Also, still want to know the hell was this former library.
