The UIU are useless, and also 100% okay with using telepathic fish to answer their phones.
It's not so much a prank as it is that I wanted to write something silly. It's just for fun, to make people smile.
Honestly, I was actually expecting it to be downvoted into oblivion. If it passes ten I might have to keep it up after today.

I think ordinarily the premise of a group of telepathic loaches would be rather thin, but in the case I think you turned did it justice. The UIU and their down-to-Earth worldview were, in my eyes, the best choice for taking on such a minute, charming parathreat. The way you work their handle of rudimentary English is just right; I didn't feel the need to suspend my disbelief too strenuously, nor did it end up a missed opportunity and depressingly deadpan.
Laughed my ass off at:
Crimes: Not applicable, as animals cannot be charged with crimes. However, if applicable, the charges of chronic disruption of the peace and disorderly conduct would be applied.
Basically inferring that animals should be prosecuted for human crimes.

Edit: I'm gonna be honest here. I was not the first one to do the crimes thing. Radioactive Soviet Dog did it first, and it's just as hilarious there too.
