Hmm. It's not bad… but it's not spectacular either. It's just a bit bland. The twist is a bit iffy as well.
Try developing on the idea - I get the feeling this was stopped partway through.
In character, Kondraki is still senior staff, until someone writes a story about him being demoted.

He dropped it from his character page, I think.
I think it would be awesome if you mentioned something about how it's a Heinleinian multiverse: for every story told, there's a universe where it's true.
Hadn't Heinlein had at least one story where the characters were aware of that fact, and in fact somewhat meta-aware themselves? I swear I remember reading one where the "worst-case scenario" was when the characters realized that their reality was under the influence of an author.
I usually don't read stories.
I like this.

I seem to recall writing a proposal for SCP-001 where I used this same premise via a virtual reality interface and everyone was like "that shit retarded Fish" (and it was).
I always wondered what happened to that. To be honest I quite liked it :/ more so than this story or the other SCP-001 propsals anyway..
Is there going to be a continuation of this story at some point? I quite like what there is so far, and could see some definite entertainment value in Northrup showing them this Foundation Tale.

There was a cartoon i watched once, where a dream kingdom learned it was just that, a dream.
This is great, very good.
Sorry for rewiving an old post 1½ years later.
But I have seen that cartoon long time ago. And you comment made me rember it.
Google yeilds no results for "Dream kingdom cartoon movie" and the like.
And I really want to find it.
So if this message in a bottle thrown into the internet see find someone with additional information, please help.
You're probably thinking of Rarg.
My apologies for necroposting; hopefully a very very late answer is better than none.
This was a pretty fun read, but one question, would all the senior staff be briefed on these details? wouldn't this kind of thing be O5 top secret need to know only?
Just think about it, the revelation that the entire universe is some alternate reality dream would be a bigger secret than the Factory (which was not declassified, we only know of it because an O5 told a snoopy researcher.)
