The Horizon Initiative logo at the top was taken from SunnyClockwork's art page.
Is this documentation a GoI format? It could be added to the new hub and I find it to be pretty fitting. Might inspire some other Sarkic articles.
Whether you like it or not, history is on our side. We will bury you!
This and Excerpts Regarding St. Sophia are in a quasi-GoI format I invented for the Horizon Initiative consisting of religious texts retrieved by a search engine. I say quasi because I'm not sure how applicable it is in general, but I'd be happy to rebrand them as proper GoI formats.
As I said back in Saint Sophia, this could be the start of the Horizon Initiative GoI format. While it might be similar to the Cogwork Church format (in terms of the use of religious documents), this also uses a search engine to provide a more holistic view beyond individual excerpts.
I suppose that if we can adapt the style to broader contexts (since the current two are fairly tied to the Mekhanist-Sarkic lore), we should be able to see the full extent of the style.
The philosophical implications are what make this so good. Half Buddhist lotus in the mud, half Nietzschean will to power.
I do think that this is an appropriate base for an HI-format, and wouldn't be adverse to this receiving the appropriate tag and such. It's distinct enough from the other formats- for me, at least- and I feel like future works could expand on1 it if need be.
I may be biased… but I really like it. It is also good to see that the philosophy was able to translate despite all the layers of flesh monsters and madness :P
I'd like to point out that nothing links to this tale apart from the author's page.
Maybe the real Adytum was the friends we made along the way.
