I particularly dig the 3d ones; that's some very nice work there.

If you can pull off stuff like that in Garry's Mod; you might check out Blender if you haven't already.

I'd love to see what you can do with blender's toolset: Cycles rendering¹, node-based textures and lighting², softbody and cloth physics, more accurate rigid body physics, dynamic particle systems, dynamic liquid and smoke, multiresolution sculpting, a huge library of community plugins adding extra features and capabilities…

There's a bit of a steep learning curve, but once you get used to it Blender's a free program that makes pay-to-use programs like Maya look bad. I think you could pull off some incredible stuff with it.
