Dare I suggest torn underwear and a healthy dose of [Data Expunged]?
…small lacerations on the thighs and buttocks?
What happens if you take two garments for the same body area (like two shirts) and put them on the same D-Class so that none of their flaws overlap? My guess is death by disease, probably located according to the first article worn (but possibly developing slightly later in locations corresponding to the second).
What if the flaws in the outer one cause the wearer to perform actions unwittingly that would cause the same imperfections in the inner one?
Say, if a guy's wearing a button-down shirt with a sweater over it, and the sweater's got a tear in the back, then the guy rubs up against something sharp on accident [just an example, there are easily more interesting ways this could come about]. THEN something ghastly happens through the rip in the back.
I like the idea of stacking them. Let's get some Ds, and have them start packing on layers.
And what happens if the article's taken off before time of injury? Despite knowing his death was imminent, I find it strange that D-690 didn't try to remove the cap.
I believe that the reverse is true, and that all intact parts of the clothes should be considered invincible. I don't know how to test this though. For that matter, have we ever tried fixing one of the articles of clothing? (Without wearing it of course.)
The picture doesn't work, and seems to have been linked from a website that I believe is now defunct. Perhaps the author has an alternate picture, or someone else does?
What would happen if a damaged article of clothing was placed in the wardrobe-would it take on the properties of the clothing already present? The originals had to get in there somehow.
No they didn't. SCPs create things out of nowhere all the time. Who's to say this one didn't?
Could use a little editing for tone, but this is a quality SCP that is good to have in the 000 block.
if your reading this your gay
-1 for scientist just waltzing into 173 containment area like nothing. Some security Foundation has… *rolleyes*
Wait a sec… in that last one experiment, is that implying the "thriller virus"?
Sorry, necropost, please delete when you get the chance.
Shinydan, instead of replying to your own comments, please edit your previous post using the "edit" function under the "options" tab to the lower right of every comment. That prevents spam buildup, and it's in the rules.
Also, staff only delete posts that contain severe rule-breaking material, like links to virus sites.
The only bit I don't like is the "weaponisation" bit, although I suppose this is due to differences in the series 1 articles to the more recent items.
