As said when I critiqued it, short, sweet, to the point, and introduces Upside-Down-Face-Guy without ruining him.

upvote for cloun
… though I feel like the footnotes could stand to be full sentences. But that's a minor quibble on a very nicely done article.

+1… +1 goddamnit!
Every time you post something it adds yet another thing to the list-o-stuff I need to paint when I'm not swamped.
The clowns would probably be Euclid before their self-neutralization.
That's the only nitpick I have related to this. Beautiful, gladly upvoting.
Heh, they were originally Euclid but someone suggested they were better as safe just because the containment requirements, as far as the Foundation knew, were fairly simple.
"You fucking shit-eaters forgot to milk the clowns, didn't you? Way to ruin a decade of work, you cunts."

Not-So-Fun-Fact: "Child breakers" are a reference to comprachicos.
Now, you see, when I hit the "child breaker" part, I found that more disturbing/horrifying than the rest of the SCP combined. I was avoiding any research to see if it had any possibility of being a real thing. And while that certainly doesn't present anything concrete…the worst SCPs have nothing on humanity.
Not doing it for me. Main description is full of unnecessary modifiers, -3 is too similar to Mr. Laugh, and clown milk's been done.
Of course clown milk has been done - that is why I put it there. It isn't a cornerstone to the SCP but a joke meant as an homage to the SCP that inspired it.
As for -3, I could have made something elaborate but chose not to. I went into this trying my best to take nothing seriously and limit my normally obsessive editing. Traditionally, I avoid data expunging because I view it as a cheap gimmick that creates the illusion of something deeper when the writer really just doesn't know what to put in there (allowing the reader to do the work for them, filling in the blank). I first did it jokingly while I planned out a new clown and decided that I wasn't going to follow my own norms for writing and kept it. This was meant to resemble the style of Series I, where there was certainly a lot of expunging going on…
Of course, I don't expect you to change your opinion and that is totally fine. I just wanted to explain that there was a reason for everything.
