Note: D-13279 is non-binary, which is why "they" is used throughout the tale (among other reasons).

I don’t know if I like this one.

It starts off almost straightforward and gradually falls apart. I don’t love multiverse-stuff (or at least, generally don’t care for fiction that directly comments on a multiverse nonchalantly), and I feel like I’m missing quite a bit of context to understand your direction here. Interesting to see D-Class thrown into something so… not normal?

It’s got some really good lines (“the most frightened men on the planet”) and writing, but it doesn’t really click with me. I CAN see why others would like it though. Just not really for me.

Huh. Thats a pretty clever use of D-class. Conditioning or otherwise making them unable to notice anomalies. Once people stop noticing anomalies, they become infinity easier to contain I suppose, no more coverups.

+1. Its a bit of a disjointed tale, but one that I like.

I'm not quite certain I buy the premise but I love the way it's presented. Really, really love it. Beautiful.

Q: Is the narrator anomalous or is the omniscience an effect of the ongoing project?

A: They have an anomalous control over their dreams, oneiroi-style. This is how they gather information, and how they're able to remember things past amnestics.

Stylistically fantastic. Very successful at evoking the feelings that you were going for, and it ended on just the right note. Great work.

As a narrative, I'm not sure how well this comes across - I agree with Conwell's use of "disjointed".

But as a meditation and as a philosophical argument, this is brilliant and brutal. The weightiness of the Foundation here is palpable - they grind exceeding small. Reading the end, I found myself nodding almost involuntarily, this feels so *right*.

I love this so much, so cool to see nonbinary representation in the scp foundation.
I kove this, i had to fight my headcanon in order to read this but it was worth it. This is so weird and cool and it brings up so many questions it just is impossible to ask. Love it.
