I want you to imagine something. It's the summer of 1982, and you're on the I-70, going back home from Kansas City to Knob Noster, when 'I want you to want me' comes on the radio. You begin to sing along, passing a patch of land surrounded by a chainlink fence and a 'USE OF DEADLY FORCE AUTHORIZED' sign. There were 150 of these once, later to be decommissioned after the Cold War ended. You wish the night would go on forever, but it won't, though the music playing will always be there to comfort you.
Late night, long drive
