The first block went very well, and kudos to the users who took the time to review and vote on the proposed entries. While the major voting is being done by the review team, your comments and opinions help a great deal in making those determinations. Please keep up the good work, and let us know of any questions or concerns.

The next review list will be published here as soon as it's ready, so check back when you have time and see what's brewing. In the mean time, go over the block and edit or comment ahead of time, or go back to the previous block and check out some of the entries that may need some brushing up!

Finished with the 100-199 block, at long last! A lot of very solid entries here, seems to be a high concentration of +5 and above entries. However, it's not without it's flaws, and we've dug up a few things that may merit additional consideration. Please look them over, and maybe take some time to look over some of the other solid entries, and maybe find a few that may have been overlooked.

Also, i want to make sure people understand the purpose here. This is a mass review, not a deletion. Just because something appears on this list does not mean it's on the cutting board. Some times, it's just to draw additional attention to it, or see if the votes match with actual public opinion. At times, yes, there are items that are selected in the hopes of deletion, but it's not the primary purpose. So if you see something you love on the list, don't immediately freak out…

Also, a word on the review process. Entries that get conflicting votes are more likely to be remanded for a editing suggestion, while a more clear, defined opinion will get a entry kept or deleted. Please bear in mind that the editing suggestions are serious: if the deadline for a edit passes with no work done, the entry will be deleted. I'm hoping that many of the entries can be saved via editing, but we'll see what happens.

Can't say I'm thrilled to see my second SCP ever (192) up there. I'm very open to suggestions and tips, since I'm honestly not sure what more (asides maybe from some denerfing) could be done with it.

106: what kills this is that no hint of the experiment log's scope is in the page. Moving a few entries would probably be a good idea.

107: needs a writing polishing regarding formatting, section titles, and inappropriate bits: the last part of the description is NOT a conclusion the researchers would actually make.

108: this is one of my all-time favorites in the "absolutely creepy and yet totally safe" class.

113: Although the basic concepts is nice, this one has undergone total nerfing IMHO. It's just way too much down funny lane to make a good scp in its current state anymore.

118: badly needs a rewrite to re-center it properly on the half-full/half-empty aspect, maybe expound more on the effect, but certainly has great potential.

125: Kill it plz. Kill it with fire :p

129: It's IMHO pretty average (compared to other disease-style SCPs) right up until you reach the very end. Another excellent example of the power of a well-used [DATA EXPUNGED].

**135*: I'm genuinely fascinated by this one, and am honestly not sure what people have against it.

149: Just move it to Light's item log.

150: when we're done getting rid of all the indestructible weapons/item, we ought to compile stats about the number deleted, to be added as a warning to the "do not create" list.

154:I like it. Real creative. Could use some more editing (i.e. the SCP does not actually does any "punishment").

157: What I like most about this one is the SCP interaction.

159: "[DECEASED]"?? Could use a jiggling to better conform to usual style, and a proper justification for the issues with flickering needs to be made. Also, given what the SCP is like, using the item for added security does not seem necessary or even a good idea.

160: I just don't like it.

161: It is a much better starting effort than 118 IMHO, but still too similar to it.

SCP-113, The Gender-Switcher: I sorta dislike this.
SCP-118, Drinking Glass: Incredibly stupid. Metaphors made real are not cool.
SCP-119, Security Blanket: Wouldn't miss it.
SCP-124, Fertile Soil: Meh, not interesting. Wouldn't miss it.
SCP-125, The "Drake": I kind of like this one.
SCP-129, Fungal Infection: Not very interesting.
SCP-130, Brain Box: Booooring.
SCP-140, Speed Demon: I love this, sooo cute :P Keep it!
SCP-146, Bronze Head of Shame: Not very interesting.
SCP-149, Mummifying Batteries: Wouldn't miss it.
SCP-150, Sword of Eternity: A classic Thing What Makes You Fight Good. Delete it.
SCP-154, Offensive Bracelets: Like a D&D item. Wouldn't miss it.
SCP-157, The "Shot Heard Round the World": Quite good.

SCP-106: It's not bad, but I agree with Circeus that it would help to have some or all of the experiment log on the main page— though it would also help tremendously to get rid of the pointless wastes of personnel and equipment.

SCP-107: Ehn. Other articles do infinite-space disposal better.

SCP-108: Unusual and creative. Keep it.

SCP-113: Ehn. I wouldn't miss it.

SCP-118: Get rid of.

SCP-119: I like the concept, but it seems too useful given its only drawback. Toning down its useful powers and/or bumping up its side effects may help.

SCP-124: Keep it, but it needs a couple of tweaks. I listed some suggestions in the discussion thread a couple weeks ago.

SCP-125: Get rid of.

SCP-129: This one's kinda grown on me (no pun intended), as a nasty set of pathogens that (for all we know) could really be out there. Keep it.

SCP-130: Get rid of.

SCP-135: Seems unfinished. Right now it's just Ehn, but it has potential.

SCP-140: I like this one, though I can see how some people may find it too cutesy or cartoonish. Keep it, and possibly make it more malevolent.

SCP-146: Keep it.

SCP-149: Get rid of.

SCP-150: Get rid of with extreme prejudice.

SCP-154: Gotta agree with judgedeadd - it sounds like a magic item from D&D. Get rid of.

SCP-157: Interesting concept, but not an interesting article. I want to like it, but it needs work.

SCP-159: Nothing really wrong with it, but it just doesn't grab me. Leaning towards get rid of.

SCP-160: The last edit (9/8) pushed it into the "keep it" column.

SCP-161: Get rid of.

SCP-163: Another one I want to like. Keep it for editing.

SCP-164: There are better (and more coherent) mirrors. Get rid of.

SCP-174: Get rid of.

SCP-176: Keep it.

SCP-179: I was all Ehn till I got to the indestructable part. Keep it for editing, because I think this could be much better.

SCP-181: Keep it.

SCP-188: Maybe move to the Log of Anomalous Items.

SCP-189: Get rid of.

SCP-192: The third one I want to like. Circeus, it might work better if you take out the part about implanting the previous user's memories. Keep for editing, especially since the author is, like, right over there.

SCP-193: A weapon what helps you fight good - now with nanobots! Uh huh. Get rid of.

SCP-194: Get rid of, and take SCP-196 with you.

SCP-195: Get rid of.

SCP-198: Get rid of.

SCP-199: The biggest problem with this one is probably all the other cats on the site it will inevitably be compared to. I like the idea, but the article needs editing to stay.

The memory swap was intended as this one-time event that prevent ease of mind when dealing with the item (hence the stern warning to class 2 and higher personnel). I can,t help feeling that removing it devalues the item significantly. But maybe that's because it's so damn difficult to write a scp whose effect can be described in five words and won,t get deleted within the week.

108 - Hilarious. Keep it
118 - Not so good.
119 - Boring
124 - Sucks.
125 - I kinda like this one: creatures frozen in ice are always good, but I think it would be better if it wasn't explicitly a DWAGON
129 - We have better infections.
130 - Has potential, but as it stands, isn't that good. Needs more brickshitting, less coolness.
135 - Okay.
140 - Everyone loves the Angry Dodge.
146 - Ambivalent. Not very interesting imo.
149 - Sucks.
150 - We have tried and tried and tried to make it good. It's not working. Kill it.
154 - Yet Another Bow What Shoots Good.
159 - Again, has potential, but needs more work. Also less joking.
160 - Infectious SCPs are hard to do: this one has potential, but real life parasites are scarier.
161 - I kinda like the pickle jar, but agree it could use some edits.
163 - I have one major objection. What sort of antique boat has an outboard motor?
164 - Mirror What Makes you Crazy. Kill it.
174 - Has potential. Consider shifting to an encyclopedia rather than a dictionary.
179 - So it's a febreze can filled with poison. whatever. I can get that with ten minutes and some hardware tools.
181 - How did this guy have +5 votes?
188 - I actually like this one.
189 - Not so good
192 - Again, pretty bad
193 - Except for the fact that it has some fairly close links to other SCPs, I say kill it.
194 - I like it.
195 - Don't we already have a clockwork man?
198 - It's a carnivorous toilet! Come on, guys, this shit's GOLD.
199 - Evil Cats are love.

107: Pretty interesting, although the last part seems tacked on. Edit.
108: Seriously? Not only is there a nazi bunker IN HER NOSE, but they assembled a robot IN HER NOSE by putting the pieces there through? I'm sorry, but the part where they managed to assemble a robot IN HER NOSE kind of blew it for me. Either delete or massive edits.
113: Interesting, unique, and odd. Not much more I can ask for. Keep.
119: Oh, an invulnerable object that has positive properties but (mentally) attaches itself to the owner. Haven't seen ''that'' one before. Delete.
124: Man, that fetus must have been delicious. No complaints, really. Keep.
125: It's… a dragon in an ice block. And that's it. Not really interesting or anything- the mental stuff at the end just seems tacked on. Delete.
129: I… I don't really know what to think of this one. No vote.
130: Meh. Delete it.
135: The idea itself is interesting, but by itself lacks substance and such. Either big edit or delete.
140: It's… a demonic, obsessive KITT? What the fuck? Delete it.

SCP-106 - SNOREFEST. So boring and just lacking any originality that I'm not sure it's worth salvaging.
SCP-107 - eh. very eh. I'm having trouble caring for this one. I'd say don't keep.
SCP-108 - oddly enough, I don't hate this.
SCP-113 - I'd be interesting in exploring this one further.
SCP-118 - kill
SCP-119 - I'm not thrilled with this. It's too much of a cool toy, honestly.
SCP-124 - keep, but edit and jazz it up
SCP-125 - kill
SCP-129 - if we're going to keep this, it needs some editing.
SCP-130 - kill. now.
SCP-135 - kill
SCP-140- tacky. I don't like this. at all. maybe if you got rid about the part of the thing under the hood. feels like something from a sci-fi original movie.

The second SCP block is now finished. Please look over the final listings, and see how things turned out. Again, if there is a dispute over a item, please let myself or another mod or admin know. I have a back up that was run just moments before the edit began, so if a mistake is made, it can be rectified.

A LOT of edits in this block. I think that's a good thing, at heart. There are some solid concepts here, and i think they would work, if reformatted. This brings me to another point: Please, if you feel like trying your hand at editing, DO SO!

These entries are on "death row", so to speak. if they are not edited, they are going to be deleted. If you ever wanted to help contribute, but feel unsure about developing a concept whole-cloth, this may be the perfect opportunity for you. The worst that happens is it gets deleted anyway, but you have the chance to not only redeem a entry, but to show your own spin and voice on a entry.
