Some issues, such as this remaining use of SCP-XXXX

<14:31> An instance of SCP-2261-1 appears from the crowd, a white Caucasian male estimated to be between the age of 30 and 35. SCP-XXXX-1 begins emitting a siren and walks slowly towards the subject, the subject notices SCP-2261-1 and proceeds to run out of the crowd, surrounding civilians clear away from SCP-2261-1.

At this point a civilian ran over to it, the instance could then be heard speaking with them in an urgent manner, believing them to be an ambulance and claimed that its colleague was in dire need of medical attention. The subject was never detained.

I kinda wonder what the foundation did after this. Did the instance ever recover?

Other than that though, it was pretty amusing. +1

I enjoy how odd this SCP is. However, what happens after an SCP-2261-1 "parks" itself and crime occurs? Does it teleport into a crowd, or does something else happen? You should explain that.

I'm fairly certain that this is already an article on the site.

Cancel that. I'll find it eventually, but this is too similar to an existing skip without adding anything aside from making the instances comically inept.

Bingo! I know there's at least one more automated Bobby skip floating around somewhere (not thinking of UnLondon, but that article does it the best).

Another small issue I had was the first incident. How are they capturing all this? He moves through a crowd on street X, through an alleyway, and eventually into another part of town. I guess it could just happen to be an area under tight surveillance, but because it's not stated otherwise, I'm assuming magic camera.

Seriously though, you should cut the 'Discussion Log' and 'Continued Incident log' bits. Not the content, but the headers themselves. The whole event should be a single continuous log.

I fixed a minor grammar mistake in the third paragraph.

I might be a bit biased to this one because I'm a first responder myself, but I like this. I agree that it could use a little work here and there, mainly in the logs, but the concept in itself is interesting.

The instance of SCP-2261-1 will then place itself in a nearby car parking space and cease all signs of consciousness and higher brain power.

So the Foundation has collected some instances and done tests on them, including brainscans? Have they tried to capture instances while active - perhaps by having agent commit crimes to lure them out? What happens to the uncollected instances - do they just stay in the carpark?

The containment procedures seem rather simple. Might there be a bit more that could be added to it?

Containment procedures don't have to be complicated. Simple is better in a lot of cases.

Speaking as a current neutral voter on this one, the main thing missing here isn't so much explanation or detail, as that there's no moment where it pushed far enough beyond "police car people".

It gets close at several points: the ambulance thing was a nice one, as was the distracted-by-old-lady-jaywalking thing… the piggyback ride thing was really close to the line…but it never quite stepped across from "Monty Python Sketch" weird into SCP-1193/SCP-2965/SCP-2232 weird.

While I know this isn't portrayed that way, and isn't a joke skip, all I can think is a bunch of guys in uniform going 'WEE WOO WEE WOO WEE WOO!' And speaking in a comedically bad 'AWRIGHT, GET IN THE BACK, WOTCHER!'

That being said, this is pretty original, and I like the addendums. +1 for originality, and interest, but the execution is a little weak.

Basically, nicely done, but don't do it again!
