Huh, it feels like there's a lot being left out here. Perhaps a bit more expansion on the "this can kill people" part. I mean, half of the description is merely listing off the SCP's chemical composition, which I'm not sure is a good thing or not.
This item could conceivably be abused to kill anyone for which a proper image is available, including SCP agents or even those of O5 level. Any such objects would have higher containment security and use restrictions, likely including O5 approval.
Honestly, when I read the original version, I thought it was Ehn. The testing log sold it for me.
But, why is it Euclid?
Because it's too inherently dangerous to be considered Safe.

Originally, I had been thinking that it was Euclid… but after realizing that it actually could kill anyone on the planet (the page doesn't say anything about a range limit), that does seem very dangerous. Perhaps further experiments could be done, say, using a picture of a D-Class that has been moved to a different Site? If it is found that SCP-528 isn't limited by range, then I'd second that upgrade to Keter.
I'd wager it's not keter because it doesn't do anything unless somebody dinks around with it.
Keter is reserved for things that are actively dangerous. If you leave this alone, it does nothing.

Yeah, power/lethality alone doesn't always meet the criteria: even an atom bomb wouldn't be classified as Keter. Unless it was a possessed atom bomb out to detonate itself at its first opportunity.
I hate to bring this up now that it's been so long since the complaint, but judging by the "safe" and "euclid" articles, this guy *should* be safe. You lock the silly putty away in a box, never let anyone touch it, and it is harmless.
tests that need doing:
whether or not it affects photos with multiple people in them, and if so what the maximum limit is.
how much of a person has to be in a picture for them to be affected, and whether it only affects the parts of them shown in the picture.
any form of time limit/expiration date on images to be used(would a picture of a person as a baby still affect them when they're 90?)
whether or not an individual who no longer resembles the image is still affected the same way(would someone transformed by an SCP item into a different appearance entirely still be affected?)
whether or not it works on non-human entities
what effects can be produced upon the person in question
this is, essentially, a voodoo silly putty doll. i'm curious as to what different methods of death can be enacted. this is one of the simplest and most efficient assassination tools the foundation possesses, but only if less mysterious causes of death (other than being rolled into a ball or erased or having your face melted) can be enacted so as not to arouse suspicion.
mainly i'm interested in whether it affects multiple individuals though. imagine a picture of a crowd of millions of people being lifted off and crumpled into a ball. mass murder in mere moments.
*edit* also, upvoted but i have to poke bright for having upvoted his own article, unless it was written by someone else and he was just re-posting it or something :P
Feel free to write up a test log.
Also, I upvoted it for the only reason you can do so. Malicious downvoting.

ah. poke retracted then. and thanks, i may do that :)
None of this ever happened!
(to posterity: never mind, it's none of your business)
Yeah, I got nothing. This one just came about because I wanted a new factory article.

How is this not rated higher? That testing log… deagh
if your reading this your gay
I like the concept, but I think it could be improved by rewriting the test log in a more clinical tone.
That last testing log entry got my upvote. Ewww…
The thing that would make this even better would be a Factory instrucion letter.
The Factory rarely does those, they tend to be a Wondertainment gimmick
