After the last time I wrote surrealistics going a bit more into the abstract I wanted to do it a bit more grounded this time (at least in so far that things are happening in places).

The Numerologist and some related musings are inspired a bit by a character from the Wandering Inn who sees his numerology as a weapon that keeps madness away, so that was quite fitting.

Abduction is a real thing and the third sibling to Induction and Deduction that is basically useless.

All thanks go to my critters: Diogene_s, Crow-Cat, Oblation and thanks also go to J_V_G for starting this project and giving me the opportunity to write a second article about the Surrealistics Department and the Chaos Insurgency not quite engaging.

Just as meaningless and meandering as surreal art should be. This feels like a half-dreamed Hercule Poirot art film with all the familiar trappings of a “War On Understanding”, so to speak. I love it.

You don't see much surrealism mixed with the chaos insurgency,surprisingly enough, and this is a refreshingly nice change of absurd pace. +1

holy shit this is fun, has a lot of the vibes of a Dario Fo play and i mean that in the most complimentary way possible, stellar work

poltatherian does have a point: You don't see a lot of CI involved with more surreal ideas, which is kinda crazy considering how cryptic and outside-the-box the way things are run over there are. Anyhow, this was a fun read. A fairly classic surrealistics piece, but the humor is great, and every line just clicks so well within the story. Really enjoyed this one.
