This is a rewrite of the original SCP-3006 by RJB_R.
My first ever rewrite! You can blame Trout for this, although I am extremely flattered that she and several others saw a We Are Number One themed article up for rewrite and immediately went "I know just the man for the job."
I respect the original, but I'll admit it didn't quite vibe with me. The eight years of progress the site has gone through since its posting made it seem a bit tacky. Gore and the anomaly spreading, we've seen that before. And while I'm a huge fan of mixing humor and horror, this seemed like a poor choice given that the original meme was such a positive thing for pretty much everyone involved. People had fun because another man had fun, and that fun raised funds to try and help that man. Rather than put a dark twist on that, I wanted to celebrate it instead.
Thus the Robbie Rotten ethnostate.
And yes, I literally went through the original video shot-by-shot counting Robbies. It took an hour and a half and I had to start over twice.
