This… this is great. It's really scary, it's really tense, and the ending is fantastic. I don't know how it was before the rewrite, but it's wonderful now.

You might want to put in a section break before the last two paragraphs. Also, you don't really need the author's note.

…Huh? It was only at, what, +3? +4? And it's a rewrite of the same exact thing. Huh?
It was at +1. If it wasn't the same story, it would be leeching, hence putting down that it is the same story. Most people have never read the original!

At the risk of sounding lost and confused… SCP-845 is a liquid polecat. Did that replace what used to be there?
Hey, sorry if this is a necro-response, but I feel like you deserved an answer.
SCP-845 used to be a door that makes you crazy. It was pretty rightfully downvoted to oblivion, and deleted.
I wrote this tale back before that happened, and a much better 845 has taken the place. I just haven't edited the story at all.
