An actually impressive display of how policy and process can be even more terrifying that the dangers they're meant for.
For what's here, I really like it. And it has great pacing.

extremely competent. heavily enjoy the focus on the effects that the murder monster has on the containment procedures. that Standard does so much heavy lifting for the implications of this article and is such a brilliant stroke.
There’s some clunkiness here and there, mostly in the tone (though this is somewhat authentic to the classic vibe)
That said, I really really enjoy the anomaly and the execution. It reminds me heavily of some of the fun series 1 and series 2 articles that are relatively lower stakes.
I also found myself thinking this was going to be a television eating people, like the bowie song.

seeing the two story lines develop was really satisfying. it felt like each word had a lot of thought put into it which works really well with this contest (and SCP in general really). it really did feel like an actual internal document with the references to inside knowledge and background knowledge. super nice depth.
Forgot these are a thing, whoops! Classic Con time!
Big thanks to mothmanUXO,
cive(creative name) and
J_V_G for giving me a vibe check on this and tone adjustments. Tried my best to emulate the early series vibe with this one and working with negative space.
Any feedback is welcome :) love to know what people think.
Great execution utilizing a simple anomaly, and I like the focus on bureaucratic horror and how horrific the processes and policies of bureaucracy can be. I don’t know what’s worse, getting killed by 8315, or going through whatever the SMFR is. I quite like this.
The best horror is sometimes entirely within your comprehension. The fact that the lack of a reaction to the sudden and gruesome death of your coworker is seen as a success instead of a horror does so much to hammer in the point here. Powder solution to force employees to take it. Punishing people for not numbing themselves like machines. What a wonderful idea and a fantastic execution in tow. +1
This doesn’t impress me. There’s no hook here, and the overall anomaly feels underwhelming for what it wants to be. I feel like this wanted to elicit a laugh out of me at certain sections, and it did not do that.
Also, your mobile formatting isn’t working and the tables are breaking this article. -1
nya? (runs headfirst into a wall and explodes)

I like this. It's a unique take on a "thing that kills you" mixed with a murder monster, but the horror comes less from the object itself and moreso from the surrounding adaptations the Foundation takes to ensure invulnerability to it and other anomalies like it, with potentially disturbing results. I think you did a great job finding a niche in bureaucratic horror and building upon it; regulations are written in blood, after all.
