Nice, this is pretty cool. I like mostly-normal things with a healthy twist of weird.
This is nice, but too much [DATA EXPUNGED] hurts my eyes and sense of disbelief :(
Too many expunged data. Adding some more interesting captured insects and/or creatures would make this article much more enjoyable, at least for me.
Also, for what it's worth, this is one of the best examples of Euclid-class I've ever seen.
This is interesting and it has a cool hook, but I agree it needs less [DATA EXPUNGED].
That said, I think it could use a bit more attention. +53, almost 5 years old, and 5 comments total?
As I understand it, the web's anomalous properties only arise from this particular population of spiders, and it has to be spun by them.
Still, even though the silk appears to be normal in composition, why hasn't the Foundation tried a test where they wove a cloth out of the silk to see whether anything got caught in it? Or is that how they discovered it was the composition?
This definitely needs more attention. It's a really cool idea but it needs more to it. A few more entries with more description would help in my opinion.
Love it. The [DATA EXPUNGED] is annoying, and so are the unnecessary black-boxes, but overall I found it interesting and weird enough to upvote.
I would love you if you released a non-blackbox/data expunged version.
