We interrupt the regularly scheduled leftist F120A rhethoric to bring to you this piece of vague neolib propaganda. I hope you'll forgive us, because — and I fully admit this — this whole piece is very little more than an excuse to have airships appear once again in the skies above this canon. We already have had the trains, you have to understand — I could not possibly say no to having the second coolest mode of transportation too.

Big thanks to my coauthor, psychicprogrammer, for his invaluable input into this. Without his scientific frameworks and economy-related blocks of text we could have never put this into anything even appearing to be coherent in logic.

Fun trivia I could not fit into this draft. The main reason for our protagonist to plan this out this elaborate plan is due to spite at the goverment of Norway for not having any rail infrastructure in northern norway.

In any case, collaborating with Rall is always a blast.

Anyway this was a fun read, gives me similar vibes to those news articles that hype up some Epic New Technology only to gloss over the horrible downsides that are brushed aside.

I fully support any effort to making the second coolest mode of transportation viable again. Also glad to see no matter how far into the future the Potential Issues section of prometheus-like formats don't get any less terrifying. +1

There are many reasons to upvote this piece - clever turns of phrase and the usual physics references that almost make sense. But I'm going for the music - excellent quotes. Nice work!
