My second article on the site, and the second Lotus Eater article. With it being St. Patrick’s Day, I figured it was a perfect time to celebrate the best Irish holiday in March - Ostara! I figured that in Three Portlands, the celebrations for it and St. Patrick’s Day would probably overlap a bit, much to the disapproval of the Sidhe community.

I had a lot of help on this article from the wonderful people on the Third Law discord - in particular, Ch00bakka, Xexnoncores, and Lemonsense. All three of them gave me great feedback on flow, plot, and a whole bunch of other issues, and the article is a lot better because of it.

Glad to see this overcame many of the problems I had with it when you first showed me. Inspires me to make something like this myself…

Loving these. The Deer GoI format was (quite literally) made for listicles written by disaster lesbians. Fantastic stuff. +1

This isn't neccessarily bad — there's a lot of small things to like here — but it really does just feel like an over-extended bit transplanted directly from messing around with your friends on Discord. Normally I'm kind of a sucker for things like that, but, like, this never really tries to be anything else but that, never really establishes a proper identity or plot on its own that's separate from the extended joke — and after a while the comedy factor just wears off and you're left without much in its place.

As my first Deer College goi format, this was an excellent introduction! Very fun and I quite enjoyed the author's gradual descent into oblivion XD
