Anderson Robotics (or, more specifically, the "hunting Anderson" arc/cycle/thing) is a bit of a bramble patch, existing as it does in parallel with something like four other series/canons/settings (by my count, Learning the Alphabet, Third Law, Three Pines, Dixieland Nightmare Magic, and assorted other minor references). This didn't work quite as well as, say The Analog Kid at making the flow between canons feel particularly natural - my reaction to Navarro showing up was more "wait, who?" than "oh shit!" - but that's a pretty high bar to clear.
Overall, I enjoyed it, though. For a piece that was pretty obviously functional, it managed to maintain a measure of suspense despite the outcome of the stand-off never being in any real doubt. Also, more than a little tickled that this came about as a result of the Art Exchange.
