Considering how much I have written about Anderson Robotics, you’d think I’d have a tale focused on the actual group of interest by now, and not just the SCP Foundation MTF that’s chasing after them. Well, here it is.

I guess you could consider this to be an origin story of sorts, in addition to being the next stepping stone in this series of tales.

Special thanks to TwistedGears, A Random Day, TyGently, ProcyonLotor, minmin, Randomini, Silberescher, and Agent MacLeod for all the feedback they provided that allowed this to go from a rather rough draft to a polished product.

Extra special thanks to Kalinin who provided the original inspiration for this tale waaaaaaaaaaaay back in December.

Entertaining, and surprisingly free-standing given the number of crosslinks it has. I look forward to seeing where Anderson goes from here.

Interesting twist. The story progressed really well and I hope the next one is just as good, if not better.

This really grabbed me once it got rolling. Apart from the 2002 bit, which didn't really work for me, I enjoyed this story immensely. +1

Overall, well-written and enjoyable; it was nice to have some of the character fleshed (heh) out a bit. The only substantive complaint that I have is that while Anderson obviously progresses in terms of inhuman appearance throughout the flashbacks, he doesn't actually become more cold-blooded until the Isaac flashback, which makes it feel like a but of a jump.

Still, quite good and sets up some interesting stuff in short order. +1

There is a part that has way too many mentions of "below" in a row that you can easily find with Ctrl+F, and two sentences that each use "quickly" one after the other, which leads to a very repetitious end to the Phineas/Anderson fight scene… but other than that small gripe, this was phenomenal. Great job, I love all these characters, and my intrigue for Anderson grows daily.

God, yes. I know I'm repeating myself but reading the canon in order really makes this such a great reveal and an arc I am extremely excited to read more of. The only thing I don't get is… does Phineas not have a surname? Or is it just a nickname? It's probably me just being an idiot but it's been bugging me for a while now. Either way though, fantastic stuff.
