I am enjoying this story, but I think these segments are really too interconnected and short to work on their own and I wonder why you are serializing this rather than just posting a longer unbroken peice.

I had in my mind a sort of "Flash Gordon" black and white serial thing going on. Little vignettes, little glimpses. It's easier to manage, and if it takes a naff direction I find out about it sooner rather than later.

I also didn't want to write a long piece and then see it go nowhere/bomb.

Aaaaand it's a little experiment in writing quick (I've got loads of scips I just haven't ever got round to completing and if I took any longer to write tales, I'd never get them done either)
