I'm feeling devious
You're looking glamorous
Let's get mischievous
And polyamorous
Wine and women and wonderful vices
Welcome to the cult of Dionysus
Dionysus is finally here. I intend to further explore the 3rd Occult War in future articles, which is largely based on the myth of Dionysus conquering India. A quick note, the Nine Unknown Men mentioned in this are based on a real conspiracy theory that claims Emperor Ashoka founded the group, which literally consisted of just nine guys. They originated from the 1923 book The Nine Unknown by Talbot Mundy as fiction, but it did not stop the authors of The Morning of the Magicians from claiming they were a real secret society. Others then added on to the conspiracy theory. I thought it would be neat to feature the Nine in an article by making them a full-fledged organization instead of just nine guys. They fitted perfectly as a precursor to the Foundation in India. Anyway, this is is the source for the image used.
