Love the concept but this is just begging for the exploration logs to be the meat of the SCP here, please tell me they're coming?
I mean, there are the other stories that are currently written by the team which can be exploration stories at least, but yes, this needs exploration logs.
EDIT: Coming back to this much later, I'm going to have to downvote. It's a tunnel that goes places without any description of those places whatsoever.
Granted, I haven't read any associated tales, but I shouldn't need to just to have even the slightest idea of what was found through even one non-Library doorway.
Even a brief, one sentence blurb about where each diplomatic site is would at least make it a no-vote.
This absolutely needs some indication of what cultures/spaces they're discovering through this.
That said, it works surprisingly well in SCP format, despite having read almost all of this already in the previous (Serpent's Hand?) format. Good job.
Yep, the Serpents Hand equivalent to this article is The Hydra's Spine.
This works despite being the same thing as The Hydra's Spine, I think because of the stark contrast in approach to the same phenomenon. I'm disappointed that we don't get any descriptions of the Tesseraians and the Oldomerites here, as the other document foreshadowed that we would.
Somethings up with the third picture. It won't show up anymore.
pastarasta1 is quick-talking and often scheming
Instead of being a major SCP, I see it as being more as one of the many oddities that make up the fabric of this universe. It's small, simple, and does its job. +1
EDIT: It doesn't make much sense that the foundation knows that 13.4% of exits lead to the Wanderer's Library, surely it should be something more like "of the exits currently known, two have been confirmed to lead to LoI Aplha-4 "
Haven't ever dug very far into the wanderer's library1, so I'm new to this whole hydra's spine business. Either way, I'd love to see this have actual exploration logs from the Foundation's more sane and analytical POV, and what comes of the diplomacy between the Foundation and the Serpents Hand. Maybe they can make headway with some of their more reasonable members.
(Also, seconding the above observation that the mainlist title is still [access denied]- that title's already been used if you were going for metahumor there)
The Hydra's Spine was invented for the contest, so no digging is required.
There just isn't anything here. As I write this, it is just a series of tunnels that lead to different places, but no info on any of the places is given. It has potential, especially because I haven't read many articles that detail the Foundation's attempt at political diplomacy, but as it stands, I can't like this article.

Yeah, this really doesn't stand on its own without its supplementary tales. Perhaps the author would care to link…?
Not author here, but I like to have opinions.
That seems to be a common critique for this work. We can look at some of the other entries for Fae's team, who cover more ground on this concept.
This is probably an odd question given the nature of this site and its writing but…
Why chicken, specifically? Not complaining, just curious. Also, can it be cooked, or does it have to be either raw or part of a live animal? I know this probably isn't the best line of questioning, but it's got my gears turning for some reason.
Honestly I kind of like the lack of further explanation or examples. This doesn't have to be a list of Weird Places to be interesting; it can just be "Weird Places exist, and we've started exploring them." There are so many articles about specific extradimensional locations on this site that are about the places and what goes on there and go into great detail on the subject and are great reads; that niche is pretty well established. I think it's nice to have one that's focused on the existence of a system that provides access to such places instead of the places themselves, and I've seen in practice that you can't really focus on the transport system if you're busy reading about all the destinations. Leaving those descriptions out entirely also lets you avoid the standard "list ending in [DATA EXPUNGED]" trope, and frankly most of the creepy factor, leaving you with a nice quiet article in which strange things are definitely happening, but the strangeness feels wondrous instead of horrifying.
I also like the lack of specific characterization of the Foundation's activities in these other places. For once we have an SCP where we've made ongoing contact with one or more active extraterrestrial civilizations, and neither party appears to be trying to exterminate the other. We're actually going out and just establishing outposts, exploring this new frontier not to defend or to exploit but just because it's there, and that paradigm is working. I love that.
Well it is a little odd that the Serpent's Hand notes that the Foundation has an alliance with the Tesseraians and the Oldomerites, but the Foundation doesn't…
Real life reason: multiple authors/ 'there is no canon'
In-universe reason: different points in time.
