Gay birds

"Gay Ravens" -VapidPoem, 2023
"Gayvens" -Einer von Rabe, slightly later in 2023

Hello! This is just a cute short romance tale we made for Remixcon! It did initially start as a joke on 19cord about just changing one line of the original 049 article to say "049 is a homosexual" and be done with it. But after a bit of talking, Einer von Rabe decided to go through and we made a tale of two literal lovebirds with 2106 and 049 being the star characters. We also decided to include both the ever-shifting Sjhlfels am Rhein and elements of the theory that whatever caused scp-5000 is the pestilence.

We put a lot of time and love into this and hopefully, you enjoyed it! Special thanks to Hikarinu for critting!

It's a cute article, and I enjoyed it, but I must acknowledge that the frequent changes between past and present tense in the writing are still there.

A really lovely story. I love this a lot. The romance between the two is so sweet, and I love the way the essences of the two are incorporated.

I noticed two errors with the text colour stuff, those being:

hands and |her hat on
The #4646b3 |Crow## is sure that some people

Also, as mentioned by Hikarinu, there are some tense issues.

This is nice, but I do feel that the dark blues and purple on black background employed throughout the tale hurt it a bit. Novote.

I have lightened the colours, hope they are more easily readable now.

Heavily underrated, we need a content farm of this NOW!

I think this is interesting, but I didn't enjoy the romance here: It feels too artificial, the way 2016 arrives and just sort of initiates everything, and the way 049 reciprocates… I dunno, it just doesn't impresses me. Feels very forced, and in that forcefulness, the entire story kind of loses steam cuz I just don't see the chemistry. There's some neat moments here and there, but overall, yeah, not really seeing a lot that felt earned.

The colors are also a bit hard on the eyes, but past this… Yeah, think it's a novote from me. I like the writing itself; the writing is good, and the overall concept is neat, but I think the character writing still needs more work to shine through.
