Ewww! +1
Creepy and nasty, I like it.
I wonder about trying to harness its immunosuppressive chemicals. By the sounds of it, they're a bit less nasty in the side effects department, relative to current ones like cyclosporine, mycophenolate, etc.
I don't think this needs the picture. The article would work fine without it and is sufficiently descriptive, and to be honest it looks fake to me.
if your reading this your gay
That's a photo of a real deep sea organism, dude.
Seriously? What the ass is that thing, and it doesn't live anywhere near Massachusetts, does it?
Some kind of sea slug, I think. It's probably a tropical species, with coloring like that; besides, you'd literally have to step on it to risk it doing you any harm. ;) No worries.
Unrelatedly, that final addendum gave me shivers. +1 for the whole thing.
I have no idea WHAT it is, but the original image can be found here.
It's a nudibranch, by the looks of it.
Piffy is an SCP Foundation Moderator, Lv. 9001 Squishy Wizard, and Knight of the Red Pen.
Why isn't this Euclid? I mean, it's contained by being in a box. Sure, containment breaches are reasonably difficult to track but it's not like it'd be hard to find if it started reproducing. Just look for the dude whose chest exploded. It's also no harm to anyone who isn't sleeping, so you kind of have to just grab it with a pair of tongs or something and shove it in a box to carry back to containment.
"begins to enter through the skin by osmosis"
I…um…hrrmmm.
I really want to find a way to say how wrong this is without bringing up the obvious point of "it's an SCP, it doesn't have to make sense". I dunno, this just seems to scream implausibility at me.
That said, EEEUUURRRGHHH
Should there be an SCP the misuse of terms?
One example is this watter dwelling SCP and Acids (especially strong ones) react to water

You mis-used osmosis, you might want to change that, but otherwise not bad.
