I strongly suggest that this thing be stored without batteries.
I think this would be better as a stove or something that makes fire or smoke. As in, you turn it on to cook, and then the fire alarm goes off oh fuck where's the fire.

As I said in chat…
I like this article and it's well written. I don't like that it's an OTT alarm clock.
In fact, I think this would be great if it had the same effect but was almost anything else besides an alarm clock. Even a living animal or animals (when they get frightened, or something else, they cause the alarm to go off?). Or a pair of scissors that triggers the effect by being closed. Or a whoopie cushion from the Factory (you can guess how that would work). Or a building - you get close to it (or enter), alarms everywhere go off. (Plus is annoying to contain, because it's a big frikkin building.) Or some kind of ancient piece of broken Green pottery which for some inexplicable reason has always had this effect, but the effect only showed itself once devices with alarms were invented - perhaps giving some archaeologist a very odd surprise.
Sky's the limit, really.
Surprised this one doesn't have more discussion.
Whether you like it or not, history is on our side. We will bury you!
It's just one of many SCPs. There's quite a good number of them, so it can be easily overlooked.
I'll say this one is quite nice, even if it is so simple.
I am officially calling for a review of this article. Please read this and, if you are so inclined, vote on it and post your thoughts here.
Hehehehe. I always giggled at this a bit. It's fun.

I actually quite like it as-is. Sure, it's OTT, but it does it in an interesting way.

I like this one. It's just an OTT alarm clock, true, but it works for me.
Made some minor edits for toning and sentance structure. The article isn't bad, but it really is just a "super" alarm clock.
I am reverting your changes due to the grammatical and spelling errors you introduced. Please don't mess with it if you're going to do that.
On second read, downvoting, in part to encourage change.
