The cold is a damn scary thing, son. A collab about chugwater being eaten by winter and not to Fuck With the environment, or else you get eaten by snow (happens to the best of us.)

Thank you sytyc for all their work, of course.

most people who crit dont have an account, but thanks for Nephritis for their input.

Yeah, I was getting tired of all those Site-78 f*cks so I killed them off… or did I? t was Trout's idea to bring horror to the Chugwater Chronicles series and while I was a little hesitant on the tone change and well, yeeting most of the cast into a frozen hell dimension. I think it worked out pretty well.

Thanks to the critters

The irrational behavior induced by this embodiment of cold vaguely brings to mind paradoxical undressing. It makes sense that a malicious embodiment of cold would have some degree of mental influence to make people give themselves up to it, defying their reason and self-preservation instinct. Since in a sense, paradoxical undressing is kind of the mundane version of giving yourself up to the cold to perish.

But, I have always been one to read too deeply into things, I guess that is just my take on that ability of this SCP which is apparently some embodiment of the phenomena of cold.
