That is an awesome picture
Agreed. The picture really makes the article here.
I actually like this a lot. I might remove the humor quotes, but it's a solid entry overall, and easily nails the "what the hell?" feeling. It's also well written, and fits the style well. No flowery text, no emotional "we have no idea how this could be!" sections, just a toy truck that is, for all intents and purposes, a real one. The bit about needing and storing the same amount of fuel was great, too.
I agree that this is an excellent article, but I do have a question.
How in the hell do they have the thing stored in a desk drawer? It's ninety tons!
There's also the question on how it doesn't manage to sink into the ground, being that it's got to have a density approaching that of a star's core. Maybe it doesn't really weigh that much, but rather has the inertia of that much mass.
Interesting bits of speculation. Upvoted.
SCP-115-2 is the controller, and that is what is stored in the drawer. SCP-115-1 is the dump truck itself, and that is in the Secure Vehicles Storage Facility.
No clue about the second part.
Ah, I missed that. Thanks for the catch.
I've a feeling a lot of bad things would happen to everybody if Kondraki were to obtain this.
I like this article, but I feel kind of dirty to have just upvoted something with two humorous addenda attached.
Incidentally, I have another picture of this.
no pictures in the forums, thanks -Bright
Please feel free to use it. I took it myself in Columbia, SC.
Hope you can use it. :)
I guess this article is from back in the days when lolfoundation addenda were still tolerated?
