The description of the second apparition's face is enough to keep me up at night. Ugh.
I upvoted, but I think it would be just as effective if 136-1 were more corporeal.

There are a few languages choices that I don't agree with for the technical format, but those are minor quibbles.
Good effort.
I know it's frowned upon, but I wrote this from the point of view of Dr. Meyers after having recently viewed 136-2, so while he tries to remain impartial he starts to break down towards the end. I like it, but I understand if it isn't really proper.
Also, I think I'm going to make 136-1 corporeal as of Dr. Brights suggestion as soon as I finish writing my next SCP.
Thanks everybody!
I think, actually, that worked out fine. Most of my quibbles were at the beginning when the technical language seemed to be in full effect. My concerns were that the description of the physical effects of the object (or the lack thereof) seemed a little nontechnical. Since you're removing the incorporeal element anyway, my concerns are irrelevant.
I like the bit at the end.
Making it sound like an Overseer is taking more of a hands on approach to an SCP makes this one stand out in my mind.
Am I the only one that finds it a wee bit unsettling that the OS don't want to keep a tighter lid on this thing?
All and all it's a great psych-horror piece, seriously.
I agree, it feels like there is a hidden agenda (as if anyone is surprised) regarding the attitude towards this SCP.
I do wonder about the containment procedures. Why use a 10 meter cube and a transparent case? Did the Foundation have a lot of spare huge rooms back in the 1990's? Do they expose crowds of D-class to it? Wouldn't an opaque box make more sense for a SCP that affects people who merely look at it?
I agree. 10 meter cubes are almost always ridiculous anyways. What places have you actually been to with a 30 foot ceiling? I have a feeling that a lot of these SCPs that have ridiculously tall ceilings are do to the writers being unfamiliar with the metric system.
Requesting permission to do some minor revisions to the containment procedures, just some size changes to the room.
