You know, there's an item just like this in "The Book of Vile Darkness" for D&D 3.5 Edition.
Really? I've never read any of the D&D supplements. I just thought it would be creepy.
*Shrugs*
I guess it's a case of being the guy who invented the telephone a couple hours after Alexander Graham Bell did.
"Except congition"? So they're still thinking? Are they feeling?
Subjects do, however, remain conscious, and the experience is described as being very painful.
Looks like.
So SCP-762-2, potentially, was in excruciating pain and pretty much only able to think about it for HUNDREDS of years? That's horrifying.
Also, it seems like the preserving effect doesn't extend to clothing, otherwise dating SCP-762-2 would be a lot easier. Is that a correct assumption? It kind of makes me wonder what other things would or wouldn't be affected by SCP-762-1's immortalizing properties.
I imagine that in suspended animation, his hair wouldn't grow or fall out, so that could probably be dated, seeing as how it's dead.
if your reading this your gay
I've seen so many similar things. It's a nice SCP, all things considered, but it could probably do with something to make it more unique.
Absolutely horrifying. That guy must have seriously pissed someone off… As for the article itself, I agree with my predecessors that it feels rather bare - however, in my opinion it doesn't mean it is actually bad… While I don't think it shall ever reach a very high score, as far as I am concerned it is still worth of my +1.
As my friend said, "Why don't they just let him die?"
People have been saying that the article is too bare, but I find it fitting the SCPs own bareness. Upvote.
